Fellow is seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to guide the evolution of our brand. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this senior marketing professional will drive our social media, PR, community, and influencer marketing efforts. Native to digital and social but fluent in retail and in-person experiences, adept at architecting newsworthy product launches and sustaining programs alike. An effective, trusted cross-functional partner, the ideal candidate can champion, lead, and deliver bold concepts from ideation to execution. This individual maintains a strong pulse on category trends and cultural zeitgeist and marries those with data and creative thinking to craft strategies that fuel our ambitious growth and deepen the connection with our community. The Director, Brand will accomplish all of this while living out Fellowship Thinking, our leadership principles: Fellowship Thinking centers our customers, always. Please note this person is required to be located in the Bay Area. This is a hybrid position with 2 days in office. Responsibilities: Dream up and execute newsworthy product launches, seasonal, and evergreen marketing campaigns that drive both buzz and sales Drive brand awareness; make Fellow a household name Partner with our creative team to ensure our brand and campaigns connect seamlessly across channels Refine our brand strategy for the next stage of growth Guide user research program that drives deep understanding of customers and centers them in our work Champion our brand internally Requirements: 10+ years of consumer marketing experience Master storyteller who brings passion, energy and inspiration to the forefront Experience across brand strategy, creative development, multi-channel execution, social platforms, influencer strategies, retail marketing, community building and PR - has executed these at scale, driving both business results and brand equity Experience leading or participating in user research studies Seasoned people leader; someone who people want to learn from, work with, and are inspired by Effective cross-functional leader and adept at working across product, merchandising, and growth Meticulous planner, able to manage complexity in both products and channels Scrappy with high standards; champagne taste, beer budget Benefits: Competitive compensation including employee equity plan Generous paid time off plan 401k with company contribution after 6 months of employment Medical/dental/vision insurance Better Yourself Wellness credit & Better Your Community donation matching Monthly Fitness Stipend Summer Fridays Paid Parental Leave Generous discount on Fellow products Best coffee anywhere Salary Range: $170,000-$185,000 Our highest goal at Fellow is creating a safe, inclusive, and rewarding environment where everyone can bring their whole selves to work and thrive.
