Description

Director GBD Special Programs

Location: This is a hybrid position that must go into the Des Moines, IA office at least once per week. Ideal candidates will reside within 50 miles of the Des Moines, IA office.

The Director GBD Special Programs Operations is responsible for the oversight of the Contractors Care Coordination and Community-Based Case Management programs such as long term service and supports (LTSS), Foster Care, Intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), HIV/Aids etc. They will also oversee Care Coordination and Community-Based Case Management teams, care plan development and care plan implementation.

How you will make an impact:

  • Oversees provider relations, reporting, and enrollment.
  • Manages contract compliance, including enrollment, disenrollment and regulatory reporting.
  • Monitors authorization process review and reporting.
  • Interfaces with providers of care regarding billing and claims issues.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 7 years of related experience, minimum of 3 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Per the state contract this position also requires a registered nurse or other medical professional with extensive experience in providing Care Coordination to a variety of populations.
