We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Global Logistics to lead and optimize end-to-end transportation and logistics operations across domestic and international markets, with teams based in the U.S. and Asia.

This leader will serve as a key connector between logistics, sales, and executive leadership — driving operational excellence while directly supporting revenue growth and customer solutions.

🔎 What You’ll Own

• Lead and develop a global logistics team across the U.S. and Asia
• Design and implement forward-thinking logistics strategies focused on resilience, cost optimization, and service performance
• Oversee all transportation modes, including:
• Ocean carriers / shipping lines
• Freight forwarders
• 3PL partners
• Drayage providers
• Small parcel carriers (domestic & international)

Small Parcel Leadership

• Contract negotiation and renewals
• Rate benchmarking and cost analysis
• Service-level monitoring
• Carrier diversification strategy
• Continuous parcel spend optimization
• Develop carrier scorecards and analytics to ensure KPIs are achieved across all transportation modes
• Establish standardized processes and SOPs governing execution with factories, freight providers, parcel carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Partner cross-functionally with warehouse, IT, finance, sales, and customer service teams to enhance end-to-end visibility
• Build executive-level presentations, business cases, and analytics to support strategic initiatives, RFPs, and operational improvements
• Support customer-facing teams by presenting logistics solutions that translate operational capabilities into measurable business value
• Lead technology demonstrations (TMS, visibility tools, analytics platforms)
• Deliver measurable results across critical logistics metrics, including on-time delivery

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in logistics, transportation, and/or supply chain
• Strong expertise across global transportation modes (ocean, air, drayage, parcel)
• Carrier contract negotiation and cost optimization experience
• Experience building scorecards and leveraging analytics to drive performance
• Strategic thinker who can balance long-term planning with day-to-day execution
• Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions in fast-paced environments
• Strong executive presence and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Technology savvy; comfortable learning new systems and platforms quickly
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred)
