Our client has a full-time Laboratory Manager position available immediately. The Manager of Laboratory Services oversees the 24-hour operations of the clinical laboratory to meet organizational needs and comply with federal and state requirements. Directs, plans, organizes, and implements strategies and initiatives to enhance and support the operations of the clinical laboratories to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective operations. Directs and oversees laboratory specimen collection, specimen processing, point of care testing, and send-out testing services. Collaborates with facility administrative and clinical leadership in planning and implementing policies and procedures, programs, and initiatives that support the institution's mission, growth, and success. Provides direction to department personnel to achieve operational and technical objectives, including workflow design, service quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement. Responsibilities Oversee the 24-hour operations of the clinical laboratory to meet organizational needs and regulatory requirements. Direct, plan, organize, and implement strategies and initiatives to enhance and support laboratory operations to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective performance. Direct and oversee laboratory specimen collection, specimen processing, point-of-care testing, and send-out testing services. Collaborate with facility administrative and clinical leadership to plan and implement policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives that support the institution's mission, growth, and success. Provide direction to department personnel to achieve operational and technical objectives, including workflow design, service quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement. Qualifications/Requirements MT or MLS degree and eligibility under CLIA requirements. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of supervisor or leadership experience in a lab setting and excellent communication and computer skills.
