Impec Group is seeking a Director of Custodial Operations to oversee and support all client sites. The Director of Custodial Operations is responsible for leading and directing all custodial and cleaning services within the organization. The Director of Custodial Operations will develop and implement cleaning protocols, manage budgets, oversee profit and loss (P&L) for the custodial division, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all facilities. Additionally, the role will manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, supporting development efforts and ensuring successful execution and management.

Pay Range $135,000 - $165,000 annually

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for custodial operations to meet organizational objectives.
  • Building Customer Trust: Establish strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction with custodial services.
  • Teamwork Across Divisions: Collaborate effectively with other divisions to ensure cohesive operations and support.
  • Cleaning Protocols: Establish and enforce cleaning protocols, schedules, and standards to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets for custodial operations, including expenses, resource allocation, and cost control measures.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise custodial staff, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for supplies, equipment, and specialized cleaning services.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present reports, metrics, and documentation related to custodial operations.
  • Client Communication: Collaborate with other departments and management to address cleaning needs and maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in custodial management, with a track record of successful leadership and operations
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols, equipment, chemicals, and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software related to facilities management
