This company is a national organization seeking a Director of Employee Relations who will serve as a trusted advisor across a diverse, multi-market workforce. This confidential search is for a company known for its commitment to operational excellence and inclusive workplace culture.


This role is ideal for a strong HR leader who brings deep expertise in employee relations, thrives in complex environments, and can navigate sensitive matters with clarity and professionalism.


The Director will lead investigations, shape policy, and foster strong relationships across departments and locations.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage employee relations cases with discretion, fairness, and legal awareness
  • Advise senior leaders on workplace practices, compliance, and conflict resolution strategies
  • Strengthen and evolve internal policies to support a respectful, high-performance culture
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent application of employment standards
  • Support union-related matters and labor relations with confidence and clarity
  • Prepare documentation for audits, legal reviews, and internal reporting
  • Serve as a resource for sensitive, high-impact employee concerns

🧠 What You Bring

  • You're local the the area (sorry, no relo!)
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years focused on employee relations and investigations
  • Proven success managing investigations and resolving complex workplace issues
  • Experience in union environments strongly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-visibility role

This role is in office in just between Sandy Springs and Buckhead!
