Job Description:

As the Director of Financial Services at Augmentjobs, you will lead the strategic and operational management of the company's financial services. This role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights and guidance, manage a team of finance professionals, and enhance the overall financial performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Management:

   • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Augmentjobs' business objectives.

   • Provide financial leadership and advice to senior management on financial planning and risk management.

   • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis:

   • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

   • Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.

   • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Team Leadership and Development:

   • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

   • Provide guidance and support to team members on financial analysis, reporting, and compliance matters.

4. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

   • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.

   • Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate risk management strategies and controls.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

   • Communicate financial performance and strategic insights to stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and external partners.

   • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

6. Process Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance function.

   • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize financial operations and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:

   • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

   • 7-12 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record in a leadership role within a financial services environment.

2. Technical Skills:

   • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

   • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using advanced Excel skills and financial software (e.g., ERP systems, financial reporting tools).

3. Leadership and Communication:

   • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team.

   • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

4. Analytical and Problem-Solving:

   • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

   • Experience in managing financial risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.
