Our client is a rapidly scaling direct-to-consumer brand in the drinkware and lifestyle space, known for building a passionate customer base and moving high volumes through their eCommerce channels.

As growth accelerates, the company is expanding its fulfillment capabilities to support increasing order volume and broader distribution.

They are hiring a Director of Fulfillment & Distribution to take full ownership of warehouse execution, labor performance, and throughput across a fast-scaling operation.

This is not a sit-back leadership role. This person will be on the floor, setting the pace, driving accountability, and leading from the front as the operation scales from 2.3M to 4M+ units annually.

This leader will oversee a warehouse team scaling to 400 employees and will be directly responsible for building structure, driving performance, and ensuring execution at a high level.

What You’ll Own

• Full ownership of day-to-day fulfillment and distribution operations across receiving, inventory, picking, packing, and shipping
• Leadership of a rapidly growing warehouse team scaling to 400 employees, including supervisors and coordinators
• Labor planning, staffing strategy, and performance management across shifts
• Execution across a high-volume DTC fulfillment operation, with additional responsibility supporting retail distribution channels
• Ensuring adherence to retail routing guides, compliance standards, and shipping timelines as distribution expands
• Driving KPIs including throughput, order accuracy, labor efficiency, and on-time shipping
• Identifying and implementing process improvements across layout, workflows, and systems
• Building structure and accountability as operational complexity increases
• Serving as the on-site leader responsible for keeping operations moving at pace every day

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience leading high-volume warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution operations
• Experience managing large teams (100+ employees) in fast-paced environments
• A strong, floor-oriented leader who sets expectations, holds teams accountable, and drives performance
• Someone who brings urgency, energy, and presence — and is comfortable leading from the front
• Ability to balance people leadership with operational execution and process improvement
• Strong understanding of KPIs, labor planning, and performance metrics
• Experience supporting retail distribution or big-box shipping requirements is a strong plus
• Familiarity with routing guides, EDI/SPS Commerce, and WMS platforms is helpful
• Comfortable operating in a growth-stage environment where systems and structure are still evolving

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 (flexible based on experience)
