Director of Human Resources Apply
DESCRIPTION: The City of Cibolo is seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team as the Director of Human Resources (People & Performance). As a key member of the executive team, the new Director will bring exceptional leadership, innovative human resource strategies, and excellent communication skills to the organization. Under the direction of the City Manager, this strategic leader overseas the day-to-day activities of several support functions including benefits, recruitment and retention, employee engagement, communication (both internal and external), performance management, and related functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess seven (7) years of experience in human resource management with increasing responsibility for multi-faceted direction and planning with governmental or public sector experience coupled with a bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a closely related field OR any combination of experience and education that results in the required knowledge, skill, and abilities.
COMPENSATION: Salary range is $118,247.90 - $177,371.84 (DOE) plus an outstanding fringe benefit package which includes excellent health/vision/dental insurance covered at 100% for the employee, a 2:1 matching ratio with the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS), 15 vacation days per year, 12 paid holidays per year, 2 floating holidays per year, etc.
