ABOUT THE ROLE
This position offers a hybrid work environment, with 50% of the time spent in the field or office and 50% remote. The role is designed to support the company's growth by overseeing marine and underwater construction projects. As part of the leadership team, you will manage diverse infrastructure projects, including bridges, dams, water/wastewater facilities, power plants, bulkheads, and seawalls. This position is flexible based on experience, with a minimum requirement of Project Manager-level experience in the marine and underwater construction industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage marine construction and commercial diving projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
- Oversee project coordination, budgeting, scheduling, submittals, and documentation.
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to project teams, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Serve as a representative in client and contractor partnerships, ensuring effective communication with regulatory agencies, developers, and governmental bodies.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain quality and schedule integrity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of progressive project management experience in the marine construction industry.
- ADCI Dive Supervisor certification with relevant experience.
- USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to pass background checks for federal installations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA, EM385, and ADCI standards.
- Willingness to travel and spend 50% of the time in the field or office, with the remaining time working remotely.
