Market Access Director – UK & IrelandA leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experienced Market Access Director to shape and deliver national and regional access strategies across the UK and Ireland. This is a senior, high‑impact role responsible for driving successful HTA outcomes, pricing strategy, and stakeholder engagement for both early and late‑stage assets.The RoleYou will lead the execution of UK & ROI market access strategies, ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and HTA success. This includes oversight of NICE, SMC and NCPE submissions, evidence planning input, and national payer negotiations. You will also build and manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including national HTA bodies and payer groups, while providing strategic insights to internal cross‑functional teams. Key ResponsibilitiesLead national and regional market access strategies for pipeline and launched productsManage all HTA processes (NICE, SMC, NCPE), including vendor oversightShape evidence generation plans based on evolving HTA requirementsDrive pricing strategy, internal approvals, and payer negotiationsDevelop and execute stakeholder engagement plans across the UK & ROIProvide strategic insights to support business development and competitive assessmentsEnsure cross‑functional alignment on access strategy and policy developmentsAbout YouStrong HEOR expertise with a track record of achieving reimbursement across UK & ROIDeep understanding of national and regional access pathways and payer environmentsExperience working within a matrix organisationExcellent communication, strategic thinking, and relationship‑building skillsKnowledge of ABPI Code of PracticeDegree in Life Sciences, Economics or related field (postgraduate Health Economics desirable)Working ModelHybrid working with 2–3 days per week in the office, plus occasional travel.
