Director of Marketing & Events

Nauti Spirits Distillery | Cape May, NJ

Nauti Spirits Distillery is a destination craft distillery located on a preserved coastal farm in Cape May County. We are seeking a hands-on Director of Marketing & Events to lead brand marketing, social media, community engagement, and a robust calendar of on-site and off-site events.

This role is ideal for a creative, energetic professional who thrives in a hospitality-driven environment and enjoys being actively involved with staff, guests, and the local business community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute marketing strategy across social media, digital, and print

• Create engaging content that tells the Nauti Spirits story and drives visitation

• Plan and manage on-site farm events, including concerts, festivals, fairs, weddings, and private celebrations

• Coordinate off-site events, distribution promotions and brand activations

• Build strong relationships with Cape May County businesses, hospitality and event planning (wedding, concert promotion, festival) partners, and tourism organizations

• Support B2B and wholesale marketing efforts through events and promotional initiatives

• Collaborate closely with on-site tasting room, operations, and production teams

• Manage marketing and event budgets and track performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience in marketing and events, preferably in craft beverage, hospitality, or lifestyle brands

• Proven experience producing live events and managing social media platforms

• Strong understanding of community-based and experiential marketing

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-driven schedules

• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

• Comfortable being highly visible, hands-on, and engaged on- and off-site

Preferred

• Experience in Cape May County or similar seasonal/tourism markets

• Background in larger-scale events, weddings, private events, or destination venues

• Passion for craft spirits, hospitality, and community-driven brands
