Duration: Full Time, Direct HireCompensation: $190,000-$200,000/Year + 20% Annual Performance Bonus + 10% RSUsJob Description:The Director of Network Architecture is a strategic leadership role responsible for the design, implementation, governance, and transformation of the company’s global network infrastructure. This position ensures secure, scalable, and high-performing connectivity across LAN/WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments to support evolving business needs.The Director will lead a global team of approximately 40 professionals, including several direct reports, and will work closely with decentralized infrastructure teams to align business unit-level network strategies with enterprise-wide objectives. This role requires a forward-thinking mindset focused on governance, standardization, and innovation—not just execution.Key Responsibilities:Design and oversee enterprise network architecture across LAN/WAN, cloud, and network security domains.Drive global standards and reference architectures across federated and decentralized teams.Provide architectural leadership and hands-on expertise in technologies such as Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco Nexus/VXLAN, SD-WAN (including CloudGenix or Prisma), and cloud-connected networks.Lead strategic initiatives including large-scale data center migrations and network modernization efforts.Collaborate with business units and executive leadership to align network solutions with organizational goals.Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract compliance to support infrastructure needs.Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, balancing cost efficiency with strategic investment.Implement proactive risk management strategies to ensure security and operational continuity.Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Communicate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders across global regions.Required Skills & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a related field.10+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and management.4+ years of strategic management experience leading teams of network professionals.Recent experience designing enterprise network architecture across LAN/WAN, cloud, and network security.Proven ability to drive global standards and reference architectures across federated teams.Architectural understanding of Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco Nexus/VXLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-connected networks.Strategic mindset focused on governance, standardization, and transformation.Global experience working across decentralized infrastructure teams.Cisco or Palo Alto firewall and networking expertise.Experience working within an OT (Operational Technology) environment.Excellent communication skills.Willingness to travel internationally and domestically 1–2 times per year.
