We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Long Term Care nursing team. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident care, maintaining regulatory compliance, guiding clinical staff, and fostering a culture of compassion, safety, and excellence within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Oversee departmental budgeting, staffing, and scheduling
• Manage EMR documentation, audits, and staff training
• Direct QA/CQI programs to improve patient outcomes
• Promote resident-centered care and safety initiatives
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support facility goals

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of nursing best practices, LTC regulations, and medication management
• Prior LTC or supervisory experience preferred
