Director Of Operations For Fulltime Port Apply

Compensation: $135k - $175k DOE
The Director of Operations is responsible for improving efficiency, profitability, and accountability while managing the overall operations of the Hudson Valley Office. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operations of a 30-million-dollar satellite office with a staff of 15-20 people.
- Works collaboratively with the Director of Client Relations Operations in reviewing ongoing project status regarding schedule, client relations, forecasted profits, potential issues, billings, collections, project closeout, etc.
- Consult with the Vice President of Sales on sales goals for all departments and assist in ensuring Sales goals are met or exceeded.
- Consult with the Director of Restoration on expectations and standards for restoration work. Ensure restoration projects adhere to company standards; improve efficiency, response, and close out on restoration projects.
- Consult with Milburn Director of Project Management and ensure project managers meet Directors' expectations.
- Consult with the Director of Logistics and Warehouse Operations to ensure the Hudson Valley Warehouse is conforming to company standards.
- Consult with the Vice president of Operations on assigning a project team to each project.
- Delegates responsibilities to all RMS staff to ensure equitable distribution of work. Follows up and ensures staff is meeting deadlines and expectations.
- Review and approve employee time and vacation requests.
- Meet weekly with the Vice President of Operations to review office workload and financial status.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with the Vice President of Operations, VP of Sales, and Director of Project Management to update upper management on office status, finances, prospects, issues, etc.
- Review estimates and proposals created by others for conformance to company standards.
- Perform performance evaluations and facilitate promotions, changes, and terminations.
- Assists in recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining staff.
- Conduct employee year-end reviews.
- Assists with client outreach and client relations for revenue growth.
Education:
- BS/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
