As the Director of Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the physical therapy department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. You will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of physical therapists, ensuring that they have the resources and training necessary to provide exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the physical therapy department.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of physical therapists, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure effective treatment plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy practices and implement best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to physical therapy services.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in the field when needed
