Director of Process Engineering Job Description - Personal Care Products / Home Goods - Central Pennsylvania

A local Global Manufacturing Company who specializes in paper products, absorbent materials (diapers, puppy pads, band aids, paper towels, etc.) and personal care Products in Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Director of Process Engineering for their manufacturing operations. This is a Long Term, Direct Hire position. This position will be working independently on engineering and continuous improvement projects. During various periods this person may manage a team of process engineers, collaborate with cross-functional departments, and ensure the smooth transition of new products from research and development to full-scale production.

The Salary and Bonus for this role is dependent on your skills and experience. The salary for this position is anticipated to be in the range of $175,000 - $200,000 plus bonus. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent medical, dental, 401k, bonuses, etc. Relocation Assistance is available for well qualified candidates.

Qualified Candidates will possess most, if not all, of these qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering is required. A BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in a high-speed Paper / Personal Care / Absorbent Material manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with leading rapid continuous improvement projects.
  • Minimum of five years of business software systems (ERP, SAP, etc.) experience.
  • Black Belt/Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 20% to manufacturing locations / suppliers, etc.
  • Must be able to work in the United States (No Visa Sponsorship or Student Visas considered)
  • Must be able to complete standard Pre-hire Checks including background, Drug Screen, References, etc.
