Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, development, and execution of a high-impact product portfolio within the Detection & Alarms space. This role will be responsible for defining product vision, driving innovation, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading solutions that enhance home safety and customer experience.

The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of building and scaling product strategies, leading high-performing teams, and translating market insights into commercially successful products. This is a highly visible leadership role with direct influence on business growth and long-term product direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute a clear product vision and multi-year strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management, from concept through launch and optimization
• Develop and manage product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on customer needs and market trends
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and innovation areas
• Partner with Consumer Insights, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to deliver scalable product solutions
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product management team
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centric thinking
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure product performance, adoption, and profitability
• Drive data-informed decision-making to optimize portfolio performance and investment strategies
• Oversee successful product launches, ensuring alignment across all functional stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive product management experience with a proven record of successful product launches
• 12+ years of leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong experience in product strategy, portfolio management, and lifecycle execution
• Demonstrated ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies
• Experience working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
