The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, team leadership, and project management. As the Director of Software Development, you will oversee the development and delivery of high-quality software products, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management:

   • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software developers, engineers, and project managers.

   • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

   • Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide professional development opportunities for team members.

2. Strategic Planning:

   • Develop and implement software development strategies aligned with company objectives.

   • Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes.

   • Work closely with executive leadership to define product roadmaps and timelines.

3. Project Management:

   • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects.

   • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

   • Implement and maintain project management best practices and tools.

4. Technical Oversight:

   • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the development team.

   • Ensure the architecture and design of software systems are robust and scalable.

   • Monitor and improve code quality, security, and performance.

5. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to deliver high-quality products.

   • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address issues.

6. Process Improvement:

   • Continuously improve development processes, methodologies, and tools.

   • Implement best practices for agile development, code reviews, testing, and deployment.

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Experience:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex software projects.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).

  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

  • Experience with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Project Management:
