Morris Plains, NJ, United States (Hybrid) Trending Job Description The Director will lead the Transition Management Office (TMO) for Solstice Advance Materials during the critical post-spin integration phase. This role will oversee governance, drive execution across key pillars, and ensure business continuity while enabling transformation. In addition to operational oversight, the Director will own financial governance for these transition projects, ensuring accurate budget tracking and variance analysis, and will provide regular and ad-hoc financial reporting to the CFO. The Director will partner with senior leadership and internal teams to manage risks, resolve issues, and deliver a smooth transition. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Leadership & Governance: Own the TMO structure and ensure disciplined execution of transition activities Chair weekly TMO meetings; set priorities and drive accountability across workstreams Strategic Oversight: Align transition activities with Solstice’s long-term transformation objectives Monitor interdependencies and escalated critical risks to executive leadership Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between Solstice leadership and functional teams Facilitate decision-making and resolve cross-functional conflicts Reporting & Communication: Deliver executive-level updates on progress, risks, and mitigation plans Ensure transparency and clarity in communications across all stakeholders Track project budgets including one-time costs and associated reductions, increases, etc. over time Report actual spend versus budgeted spend and elevate variances to leadership. Procurement Oversight: Monitor procurement progress across workstreams and resolve bottlenecks Qualifications Qualifications 8 plus years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or large-scale transformation programs Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives under tight timelines Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with post-spin or M&A integration preferred Experience in financial tracking and budget management for large-scale projects. Knowledge of procurement processes and associated best practices.
