This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring top-tier, patient-focused care while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and accreditation standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a track record of driving performance improvements in acute care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Critical Care Unit, ensuring exceptional patient care delivery and optimal clinical outcomes.

  • Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Oversee department operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, to optimize workflow and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient treatment plans and improve overall healthcare services.

  • Drive continuous quality improvement efforts, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care.

  • Ensure adherence to all healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in critical care.

  • Utilize advanced problem-solving skills and strategic leadership to resolve operational challenges effectively.

  • Mentor and support nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience in acute/critical care settings.
Licensure: Active RN license (NC or multistate compact).
Regulatory Expertise: Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, accreditation requirements, and patient safety protocols.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional ability to lead teams, drive engagement, and implement innovative care strategies.
Technical Skills: Proficient in critical care best practices, performance improvement methodologies, and advanced clinical operations management.
