Location:Arlington MassachusettsLOCAL HIRES ONLY


Dates: March 27th-May 19th

Hours: Rehearsals are M-Th 5:00-8:00 with optional Sunday rehearsals 3:30-6:30

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and responsible individuals to join our team as Director for Tuck Everlasting the Musical (TYA edition) The ideal candidate will have a passion for theatre and education, and enjoy working with children in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with participants on blocking

  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan and organize weekly rehearsal schedules.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their childrens experiences and progress.

  • Collaborate with the musical director and choreographer to create a cohesive show

  • Attend weekly or biweekly production meetings

  • Collaborate with the technical director on set

  • Adhere to all program policies and safety guidelines, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.


Qualifications:


  • Experience in theatre, drama, or performing arts (either through education or practical experience).

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a musical theatre setting.

  • Energetic, patient, and capable of fostering a fun and safe environment for children.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Must pass a background check.
