Urbana Country Club is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This essential role ensures the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen by maintaining dishware, cookware, and kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and a team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment or by hand as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, kitchen, and equipment.
• Ensure proper handling, organization, and storage of clean dishes and utensils.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
• Support kitchen staff by prepping ingredients and assisting with basic kitchen tasks as needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Assist in maintaining stock of cleaning supplies and report when restocking is needed.

Requirements

• Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
