Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand.
• Ensure that clean dishes are properly organized and stored for easy access by kitchen and service staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Assist with basic food prep when needed, helping the kitchen staff during busy times.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
