Dispatchers are responsible for ensuring deliveries are organized for delivery to the various clients, working with the drivers to ensure the process is efficient and timely. Dispatchers must be flexible to work various shifts.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Prepare delivery routes for delivery personnel appropriately
- Keeps a clean work station, replenishes supplies and ensures deliveries are organized for driver pick up.
- Ensure that all necessary packaging documents are attached to each delivery before handing it to the delivery personnel.
- Sort packages by routes
- Performs any other duty that may be assigned by supervisor or pharmacist for the workflow of pharmacy.
- Flexible schedule as we are a 24 hour operation.
- Dispatch experience required
- Education and experience equivalent to completion of High School.
- Pharmacy setting experience desired but not required.
