As a Central Service Dispatcher, you will ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment from/to customers and other Sunbelt stores in accordance with company and DOT standards.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Central Service Manager in the following:Coordinating and ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of Road Mechanics so they can efficiently service equipmentCreating and monitor road mechanic's schedulesCreating and monitor receipt and maintenance schedules for company equipmentReview daily and weekly driver logs in accordance with company and DOT standardsPerform daily truck inspections in accordance with company and DOT standardsWork closely with other store locations in order to assist them in meeting their customer's equipment needsHandle customer complaints in a professional manner in order to resolve the complaint to the satisfaction of the customer and Sunbelt RentalsReport problems to supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and follow-up to ensure problem resolutionProvide adequate feedback to the Region or District PC's regarding the timely delivery and receipt of equipmentFollow Standard Operating ProceduresQUALIFICATIONSHigh School EducationWorking knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety RegulationsCustomer Service & Dispatch training a plusAt least two years prior knowledge of the applications of various construction/industrial equipmentWorking knowledge of the delivery areaAble to effectively communicateLift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneelSit or stand for long periods of timeBase Pay Range: $56,304.00 - 77,418.00Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
