Dispatcher Job Description:
- Handle & Schedule Service Calls – Receive and dispatch customer requests, ensure quick response times, and coordinate technician assignments based on urgency and skillset.
- Create & Manage Work Orders – Accurately enter job details, verify customer info, and keep dispatch boards and customer portals up-to-date.
- Customer-Focused Communication – Maintain professional, timely updates with clients, conduct follow-ups, and help build strong long-term relationships.
- Coordinate Preventive Maintenance – Oversee service agreements, schedule recurring maintenance, and track job completion with the service team.
- Support Project Quotes & Repairs – Schedule manpower for small repair jobs and coordinate with sales/estimators to ensure timely delivery of parts and labor.
Dispatcher Job Requirements:
- Previous high-volume dispatcher expereince required.
- Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
- Required Computer Skills- MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Timberline.
- Ability to write reports, business information and respond to questions from customers, field technicians, and supervisors.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two years data entry experience.
