Position: Distribution Center Specialist
Location: Total Vision Support Center - 27271 Las Ramblas, Mission Viejo, CA 92691, USA
Duration: Full-time, and Direct Hire
Pay: $16.50 to $18 per hour + Exciting benefits

Duties/Responsibilities
• Executes day-to-day operations for Total Vision's Distribution Center.
• Replenishes frames for Total Vision's 50+ optometry locations.
• Pulls daily patient orders for packaging and shipment to the lab.
• Pull stock orders weekly to replenish practices that have sold frames as store enclosed.
• Manages communication with the Total Vision locations through a Zen Desk ticketing system.
• Support special order frame process.
• Support restocking of frames and identify reorder needs.
• Enter vendor receipts into practice management system for accurate reporting and reconciliation.
• Works in partnership with lab and frame vendor(s) to deliver improved turn times and improve patient satisfaction.
• Work with DC Manager with PO process to better track and manage invoices and payment of statements from accounts payable.
• Process vendor returns and defective exchange frames monthly.
• Improve inventory processes by utilizing Total Vision's shared Practice Management System and DC module through reporting, audits, and communication with Practice Managers and Inventory Specialists.
• All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Strong data entry skills, including 10-key.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the proven ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and ensure that commitments/deadlines are met.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft products including: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Is technology savvy and appreciates finding new ways to make processes easier.
• Brings his/her best self to work everyday and can contribute positively to a team environment.
• Desires a long-term growth opportunity.
Education/Experience
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Distribution Center experience or optical experience preferred.
