NOTICE OF JOB OPENING
DISTRICT MANAGER POSITION
COPPER MOUNTAIN CONSOLIDATED METROPOLITAN DISTRICT
The Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District (District) is accepting applications for the position of District Manager. Interested persons should submit a resume and statement of interest to Tom Malmgren, President of the District Board of Directors at tmalmgren@coppermetro.org or Abigail Tietjen, District Board member at large at atietjen@coppermetro.org. The District is looking for a qualified candidate that possesses strong management and communication skills and a keen understanding of the role and importance of water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, television and internet services, road maintenance services, public policy, and special district responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelors degree in planning and public policy, engineering, public administration, business administration; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience is required. A Masters degree in public administration, business administration or a closely related field of study is preferred.
Five years work experience in a comparable organization as the Manager or Assistant Manager; a comparable management position with at least five years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience is required.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
The District offers a generous benefits package including 457 retirement plan and excellent health insurance benefits. The salary range for the District Manager position is between $130,000 and $200,000 depending upon qualifications and experience.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
