This position requires the selected candidate have permanent home residence located at least 50 miles from the assigned geographical location.


Under direction of the Codes and Standards Administrator I, the District Representative (DR) II works as an investigator/inspector and trainer associated with the Manager Training Program, Field Operations trainer, and responds to the most sensitive and complex field inspections and investigation assignments.
The DR II provides training to mobilehome and special occupancy park managers and codes team members.
The incumbent is expected to schedule and conduct regular training sessions for new and existing park managers and codes team members, as well as inspections relating to the enforcement of state and federal laws and regulations for assignments within a geographical area such as building construction industry, construction, sale installation, occupancy of manufactured homes, commercial modular, recreational vehicles, and employee housing facilities for habitability, maintenance, use, and occupancy.
