The Department ofAdministrative Services (DOAS), Information Technology Division is seeking anindividual with strong Human Resource (HR) systems knowledge and businessanalysis skills, including testing, requirements traceability, training, and generalsystem support skills.
DOAS is partnering withthe State Accounting Office (SAO) to implement Workday HCM for 70,000 State employees. This resource would supplement projectbusiness analysis support for Talent (Recruiting and Performance), Compensation,Benefits, and/or Core HR functions.
JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the Business Analyst will:
Document current and future state business processes.
Develop business functional and non-functional requirements.
Develop test plans and scripts, and test new or upgradedtechnology.
Provide technical support in themaintenance or enhancements of systems.
Create software user guides and other supporting documentation asrequired.
Provide user support andtraining on any new applications or new functionality.
Provide incident support and communicate software issues to theappropriate personnel.
Serve as a liaison between assigned business units of DOAS and thetechnical team to provide technical support in the maintenance or enhancementsof systems.
Ensures functionality of automated system is consistent withadherence to laws, regulations, business rules and best practices.

Effective writtenand verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizationalskills.
Ability to present and document high quality, detaileddeliverables.
Ability to focus on results to meetmultiple deliverables and critical deadlines.
Advanced knowledge in MS Officeincluding Excel, Word, and Teams.
MINIMUMENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accreditedcollege or university AND one year of related experience; OR Associate's degreein a related field from an accredited college or university AND two years ofrelated experience.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
Experience implementing or supporting WorkdayHCM.
Experience insupporting technology for public sector.
