Doctor of Podiatric Medicine – Program Director & Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Job No: 539863 Work Type: Full Time Location: Jacksonville Campus Job Description University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation is seeking a full‑time academic Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Program Director of Residency Training – Podiatric Surgery. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in Florida and be board certified or board eligible (ABFAS). This position will be considered at the academic level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. Major responsibilities include performing podiatric surgical and ambulatory care, providing leadership for the Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency (PMSR/RRA), teaching, and research. This non‑tenured position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Qualifications Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) with a completed CPME accredited Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency/RRA Board certified or board eligible (ABFAS) Eligible for licensure in Florida Experience in podiatric surgical and ambulatory care Experience in residency program leadership and teaching Strong research background is preferred Benefits Excellent benefits package. Salary and academic appointment will be commensurate with training and level of experience.
