A day in the life:
  • Proofread vehicle and driver documents to ensure the necessary documents are included in the transaction.
  • Prepare documents for imaging by removing all staples, mending any tears in the documents and placing all the documents in the proper order and orientation.
  • Identify any missing, extra or incorrect transactions and follow established procedures to return the transactions for correction.
  • Research errors using system software.
  • Open envelopes and sort and organize documents.
  • Use system software to produce production reports and ensure that all vehicle and driver work received are accounted for.
  • Use a barcode scanner to scan in each batch of documents.
  • Organize the batches of documents following existing procedures with proper labels and identification and then send to their proper production units.
  • Follow established procedures to report the volume and dates of the transactions.
  • Use policy, procedures and guidelines to make accurate accounting and document preparation decisions while using independent judgement.
  • Work in a standard office environment and frequently use office equipment.

Minimum qualifications:
One year of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An equivalent combination of experience and college coursework or training in a general office occupation.
