We are currently hiring a Downstream Operator to join our manufacturing team in Jackson Center, Ohio. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of automated packaging and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality standards.

Pay range: $15.50- $17/hr
Shifts available:
Mon to Fri 7:00 am to 7:10 pm
Mon to Fri 7:00 pm to 7:10 am.
Weekly pay, overtime, and double time available!

Key Responsibilities:

Operate downstream production equipment, including:
-Automated case packers
-Case erectors
-Conveyor systems
-Vacuum loaders
-Stretch wrappers
-Banders
-Blenders
-Trimmers
-Labelers
-Transition applicators
-Boxmakers

Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on downstream and boxmaker equipment
Follow material and customer specifications to meet production requirements
Perform quality assurance checks for labeling, transitions, and packaging to meet customer expectations
Assist production technicians and mezzanine leaders in documenting production or material losses
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment (housekeeping & GMP standards)


Qualifications & Skills:
Mechanically inclined with prior mechanical or equipment experience
Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
Basic computer skills
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift
Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Effective verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
