Blew & Associates, P.A. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Drafting Technician specializing in Records of Survey, Parcel Maps, Tract Maps, Corner Records, & ALTA Surveys. In this critical role, you will prepare accurate and comprehensive survey documents that comply with legal and regulatory standards. You will work alongside our professional surveyors and project managers to ensure that all technical aspects of the survey data are accurately represented in the final drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft Record of Survey documents using industry-standard software.
  • Review field data and ensure accuracy in measurements and representations.
  • Collaborate with survey teams to gather the necessary information for documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding survey documentation.
  • Make adjustments to drafts based on team feedback and revisions.
  • Maintain organized records of all survey documents and revisions.
  • Assist in quality control to ensure all documents meet company standards.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent certification in drafting or surveying is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software required.
  • Knowledge of Record of Survey standards and requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in land surveying or civil engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
