Driver-Mental Health Worker Children's Residential ProgramGemma Services is currently seeking a Driver-Mental Health Worker for its Children's Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program.Job Summary:Responsible for providing transportation for children and families to various appointments and destinations throughout the community in a safe and secure manner; responsible for providing excellent care and services for children as a direct care worker on the units. Coordinates work within the department as well as with other divisions and departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information. Other duties are not limited to but are as follows:Supports the mission of Gemma Services by providing individualized support, being data-informed, and helping others know they matter.Provides transportation for children and families to various appointments and destinations throughout the community in a safe and secure manner.Provides services as a Mental Health Worker for the children serviced by Gemma Services.Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.Is knowledgeable and cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the organization's compliance with all regulatory requirements; participates in and completes all required training within stated training year.Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other divisions and departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.Communicate with management and staff personnel to integrate goals and activities.Responds to inquiries relating to their area, or to requests from other staff, etc., within given timeframes and within established policy.General Responsibilities:Email Management: regularly check and respond to emails in a timely mannerNotification monitoring: stays updated on notification across electronic health record, and Gemma Services platforms for important messages and alertsInformation Dissemination: shares relevant updates and communicates with team members to ensure everyone is informed and alignedTask organization: priorities and organizes tasks based on deadlines, responsibilities, and communicationDocumentation: maintains records of all required documentation for reference and accountabilityCollaboration support: facilitates communication between departments and colleagues, participates in meetings or discussions as neededPerforms tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.Education and experience:A high school diploma or equivalent required.Driving/criminal record must meet current insurance company/Commonwealth guidelines and regulations.High School diploma required.
