Job responsibilities: Responsible for keeping vehicles in clean and orderly condition and for operating vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers.
Essential functions:
- Operate light trucks, buses and passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/ or packages; ensure adherence to established schedules and safety policies and practices
- Maintain vehicles for routine service, clean vehicles, check fluid levels
- Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection daily, including lights, brakes, mirrors, steering and other required operating equipment, recommend mechanical repairs as needed
- Maintain required driver records and reports
Education and experience requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience as a licensed driver
- Must have general knowledge of maintenance/ repair
- A valid CDL (commercial driver's license) with passenger endorsement in the state of residence with an acceptable driving record
