Driver / Rider / Transport Assistance
Job Summary: Collect and transport sample from client location to laboratory location. Assist in the laboratorynto perform daily operations and various housekeeping tasks.
Job will start as being a rider in these transport vehicles. Have the opportunity to move into a full time driver role in the future.
Pay: Starts between $16-18/hour depending on experience.
Work Schedule: Full time, varying shifts between Monday-Friday to cover business operations. 35-55 hours in both the lab and traveling to client locations during weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collect samples from client locations and transport to laboratory in a safe and efficient manner while following state regulations in a company vehicle
  • Keep inventory of essential items needed to perform sampling procedures
  • Maintain sterility of samples and sampling kits
  • Inform leadership of emerging compliance and customer issues
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with people inside the lab and people outside the lab including customers, regulatory staff, and corporate staff.
Additional Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize the lab
  • Perform waste disposal
  • Perform inventory on laboratory supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience preferred
  • some laboratory experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding testing and transport of cannabis products preferred
  • Knowledge of cannabis industry
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Ability to safely drive to and from client facilities
  • Basic understanding of laboratory performance testing
  • Ability to keep a professional and courteous demeanor in day-to-day operations
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office
