HSTC currently operates two resale stores in the Stuart area to support our mission of finding animals forever homes. Our stores operate 7-days per week and are staffed by paid staff and a great group of dedicated volunteers. This is a unique, full time, day-shift role.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, responsibilities are divided between being out of the store picking up furniture and in-store operations.
- Picks up large furniture donations throughout Martin County in the thrift truck a minimum of three (3) days weekly.
- Completes pickup/delivery forms and maps the route for the daily pickups, and calls donors and customers to notify them of expected time of arrival.
- Tracks truck mileage and truck repairs needed.
- In-store receipt and sorting of donations.
- Supports all aspects of physical store operations and the sales process from merchandising to cash management.
This role requires constant interfacing with both donors and customers. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal, prioritization and organization skills.
Must have a valid, clear FL drivers license. Please note heavy lifting is a big part of this job. HS diploma and 1+ yr. relevant experience required.
