Dry Cleaning Plant - General Manager Apply
Applicant MUST have 1-3 years experience in a dry-cleaning facility and be able to articulate their experience and roles handled. This would be experience with back-half of the building, the actual dry-cleaning operation. This job requires the overseeing of a dry-cleaning plant. Other responsibilities will be coordinating jobs with project managers and insurance adjusters, scheduling, inventory and possible invoicing.
We are a CONTENTS RESTORATION company (valuables, belongings, clothing, electronics, art, documents, textiles, etc. for homeowner or commercial tenant contents) specializing in textiles cleaning.
Job posting handles the clothing and other textile cleanings (clothes (wash/fold or dry-clean), purses, hats, shoes, other:
.Would be operating washers & dryers for clothing items: loading, unloading, folding, hanging.
.The ability and willingness to learn our equipment for finishing garments that are going to be returned to the customer on hangers and plastic bags (aka Dry Clean items).
.Will handle delicate items (purses, hats, shoes, other) with hand tools and organic chemicals.
.Be able to use computer software: SPOT program (experience recommended). Accurate inventory description of clothing/other items.
.Identify whether or not the job has any items which need to be returned to the customer immediately or as soon as possible (aka RUSH ITEMS).
.Be able to work as a team: the goal of completing jobs in a timely/accurate manner, while also able to work unsupervised and still maintain a productive pace. Person would be responsible for inventorying jobs in a timely manner: Sorting/tagging/invoicing jobs correctly + ability to communicate with Management Team and Field Team who are bringing in the items.
Job is organic and roles may cross-train to additional departments within company. Active DL is encouraged. Bi-lingual is a positive, but not mandatory.
