Job Title: Senior Estimator - Stucco and Plaster or Drywall

My name is Marnnie and I am a recruiter with gpac and I am working with a leading construction and contracting firm specializing in high-quality stucco and plaster solutions. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we deliver exceptional results to our clients in the construction industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estimator with a minimum of 8-10 years of expertise in stucco and Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Evaluation:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of project requirements, specifications, and drawings.
  • Analyze stucco and EIFS elements, considering materials, labor, and equipment needed.
Cost Estimation:
  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for stucco and plaster projects.
  • Utilize historical data, market trends, and industry knowledge to ensure precision.
Bid Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
  • Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiations.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management:
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Risk Assessment:
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with stucco and plaster projects.
  • Propose risk mitigation strategies to enhance project success.
Cost Control:
  • Work closely with project teams to monitor and control project costs.
  • Implement measures to prevent cost overruns and maintain profitability.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry advancements, new materials, and construction methodologies.
  • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of estimating processes.
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating stucco and EIFS projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
