Dynamics AX (SCM Specialist)

Compensation: $52.87/hr (W2) Duration: 11 Months Only Visa independent candidate Prefer Position Overview We are seeking a senior Dynamics AX Lead Consultant with over 10 years of experience to drive solution design and system configuration. This role is focused on the Supply Chain Management (SCM) module, requiring a consultant who can translate complex user stories into robust functional designs. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring a high-quality, customized ERP solution. Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture: Lead the Solution Design phase, preparing Gap-Fit analyses and justifications based on user story requirements. Functional Documentation: Author comprehensive FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents) and FDDs (Functional Design Documents) to guide the technical team. System Configuration: Configure the Dynamics AX environment to meet specific SCM business requirements and customization needs. Technical Alignment: Partner with the technical development team during design discussions to ensure the final solution is scalable and performant. Testing & Quality: Prepare and execute rigorous test cases, conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts), and lead system demos for key stakeholders. Knowledge Transfer: Create training plans and lead client training sessions for all newly developed solutions. Required Qualifications 10+ Years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics Technologies, specifically Dynamics AX. Certification: Must hold a valid Dynamics ERP Certification. Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules and customization. Documentation Skills: Proven track record in preparing Gap-Fit, FDD, and FRD artifacts.
