Our client is a leading power generation organization with approximately 700 employees across North America. Their Dynamics GP environment supports a focused group of ~70 users within the US across Finance and Supply Chain. The environment is highly customized, lightly documented, and currently mid upgrade-making this a role for someone who thrives in complex, hands on GP ecosystems.

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Microsoft Dynamics GP Techno Functional Administrator who can immediately step in to stabilize, support, and optimize the client's GP instance. This is a hybrid role requiring both technical administration and functional engagement with business users. You'll be the "boots on the ground" GP expert-reverse engineering customizations, documenting integrations, supporting daily operations, and guiding users through processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Administration

• Manage and support the Dynamics GP environment, including SQL related administration.
• Work with SmartConnect, Excel based data loads, and existing E1 integrations.
• Reverse engineer and document a significant volume of customizations and configurations.
• Support and validate the ongoing upgrade to the latest GP version (in partnership with Winsoft).
• Troubleshoot and maintain integrations, custom workflows, and data processes.

Functional Support

• Sit with end users to understand business processes across Finance and Supply Chain.
• Provide day to day GP support (moderate volume).
• Deliver end user training and help simplify workflows.
• Assist with month end and year end close activities for 2025.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce unnecessary complexity
• Create clear, comprehensive documentation for technical processes, integrations, and customizations.
• Map current state workflows and define the shortest, most efficient path from A to B.
• Establish structure and clarity in an environment with minimal existing documentation.
