Below is the day to day activity
Monitoring the Problem cards in dynatrace, Analyzing the problem and contacting respective application team to understand if they took any action/ need any configuration adjustments for the problem.
Monitoring the Dynatrace cluster and addressing any issues with Production and Non Prod clusters
Communicating with app teams and gathering the application details for new installations
Creating changes to install OneAgents, coordinating the changes and executing the OneAgent Installations
Troubleshooting issues with installations
Verifying the OneAgents connectivity after Installation
Making all the required configurations(i.e. tags, management zones, alerting profiles, problem notifications, RUM, user tagging, naming conventions, etc.,)
Addressing the tasks related to Dynatrace (when app team needs any changes for their application related to dynatrace monitoring, they will create a task).
Creating Documentation where needed
Pointing out improvements in the process and having discussion with team and Dynatrace support
Attending team calls
Attending RCA calls and understand the incident and Root cause and suggest if we can implement dynatrace to reduce MTTR.
Attending Incident bridges to verify if dynatrace caught anything that can help investigation to resolve the incident.

Job Description :
The Dynatrace Admin role is responsible for managing and configuring the Dynatrace monitoring platform. This role requires a deep understanding of the Dynatrace toolset, as well as expertise in application performance monitoring, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Configuration and Setup*: Configure and set up Dynatrace environments, including agent installation, configuration, and management.
2. *Monitoring and Alerting*: Define and manage monitoring configurations, alerts, and notifications to ensure timely detection of performance issues.
3. *Dashboarding and Reporting*: Create and manage custom dashboards and reports to provide insights into application performance, user experience, and infrastructure health.
4. *User Management*: Manage user access, roles, and permissions to ensure secure and controlled access to Dynatrace environments.
5. *Integration and Extension*: Integrate Dynatrace with other tools and systems, such as ITSM platforms, automation tools, and cloud providers.
6. *Troubleshooting and Optimization*: Troubleshoot and optimize Dynatrace configurations to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
7. *Documentation and Knowledge Management*: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on Dynatrace configurations, processes, and best practices.
*Required Skills:*
1. *Dynatrace expertise*: In-depth knowledge of Dynatrace features, configurations, and best practices.
2. *IT operations and monitoring*: Experience with IT operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting in cloud and on-premises environments.
