OBJECTIVE The responsibility of the E-commerce Coordinator is to provide entry level execution focused support to the E-commerce Manager as it pertains to the maintenance and functionality of the company's E-commerce site as well as the development of content creation, analytics and site operational skills. This includes continual execution in updating information and details related to products, seasonal offerings and promotional items based on the marketing calendar. Additional support will be provided to the E-Commerce Manager, monitoring website KPI measurements and SEO optimization in order to drive customer traffic and increase e-commerce sales. Communication with the E-commerce, Marketing, Merchandising and Operations teams is required. Maintains product details on e-commerce website ensuring that all information is updated in a timely and accurate manner Provide support to the Marketing team by ensuring that promotional details for multichannel communications are accurate and error free including all emails and social media posts Communicate with the Operations team to address and correct any errors or glitches related to the functionality or information listed on the e-commerce site in order to mitigate customer service issues Utilize market research and analytical tools to optimize and incorporate SEO for listings in order to drive site traffic and increase customer conversions Develops and implements content schedules across all product lines in collaboration with the Merchandising team Conducts content audits to identify gaps and redundancies in product descriptions. Communicate with Visual Marketing to coordinate scheduling and creation of product display images Assist the E-commerce Manager in the creation and documentation of operational practices as needed Monitors and analyzes KPIs in support of the E-commerce manager providing relevant insight and recommendations in a timely and concise manner Utilize the POS and E-commerce platform to generate periodic reports related to sales, inventory and order management as directed by the E-commerce Manager Complete all additional tasks as assigned by management COMPETENCIES Strong written and verbal communication Ability to work independently Attention to detail Ability to maintain productive team relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organization Strong project management skills Well-Organized Strong analytical/research skills Strong work ethic Adaptability to new and updated systems PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, E-commerce or other related field or 1+ years of experience working with e-commerce software required. Experience working with WooCommerce and POS/Inventory systems including CounterPoint preferred. Demonstrated knowledge or previous experience utilizing project management and digital marketing platforms required, Favro and Klaviyo preferred. Previous work experience in a retail or horticultural field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a standard office environment. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These activities may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Monday-Friday, hours of work vary by schedule and season. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. This includes periodical on-call support outside of standard schedule as well as in-store retail support as needed.
