About the Role
Industrial Systems Consulting (ISC) is seeking an experienced E&I Field Construction Coordinator to support a DeltaV DCS cutover project at a large refining and processing facility in Laurel, Montana. The role provides onsite coordination and oversight of field electrical and instrumentation work, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution during system transition and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily E&I construction, installation, and testing activities in the field.
  • Collaborate with project engineering, operations, and maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, QA/QC standards, and work permits.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, loop sheets, and wiring diagrams; verify installation accuracy.
  • Track progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Support loop checks, functional testing, and DCS commissioning activities.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for turnover and project completion.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation construction or commissioning.
  • Prior experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial process environments (refining, chemical, or heavy industry).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Must be available to work onsite full-time in Laurel, Montana for the project duration.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
  • Per diem available for non-local candidates
  • 40 60 hours per week expected, based on project needs
