The eCommerce Solution Architect is primarily responsible for leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives to drive eCommerce globally for all brands. This highly collaborative leader will leverage a deep technical expertise of eCommerce and Marketing technologies, and business knowledge, to solve problems and architect innovative, sustainable and scalable solutions to meet key objectives and accelerate global eCommerce growth.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with key stakeholders, including global Product Owners, Commercial Leaders, Consumer Marketing leaders, Brand Marketing leaders and Senior Leadership Team members, to drive and manage the technology roadmap planning and implementation process for large, complex multi-system strategic projects.
  • Manage internal and external development teams to execute the global roadmap in accordance with approved scope, timelines and budgets. Lead the ongoing development process: develop clear, detailed project specifications comprising schedules and test plans, project guidelines and milestones to team members. Identify potential issues between system capabilities and the project specifications; and propose new solutions to work around these limitations.
  • Provide regular, timely updates to key stakeholders on the progress of all strategic projects, proactively communicating any risks and offering mitigation options.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding and proficiency of new and existing technologies within the full in the eCommerce technology stack [Salesforce Commerce, Marketing and Service Clouds] to deliver a clear point of view on how core solutions should be designed and leveraged across the environment. Partner with external vendor partners to understand and evaluate new capabilities to be leveraged to enhance the consumer experience and drive accretive ecommerce revenue growth.
  • Hire, manage, and mentor a team of full-stack developers; and, manage external partners and vendors, as needed, to ensure the timely, efficient delivery of project milestones that are aligned with approved specifications.
  • Partner with other functional leaders within the Experience Team, including QA Leads and Product Owners, to ensure seamless handoffs throughout the entire project development process.
  • Create a team culture focused on continuous improvement. Identify gaps and opportunities to improve systems and processes that drive growth, create efficiencies and deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Ensure that DTC technology and development best practices are fully integrated into new projects, including user experience standards, accessibility, performance optimization, localization, scalability, device compatibility, and more.
  • Performs duties consistent with the company's AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience leading architecture, development, support and QA functions
  • Deep technical experience with B2C e-commerce platforms, websites, and applications.
  • Experience managing the day-to-day development/maintenance in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Salesforce specific experience a plus in Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Hands on experience managing project/task management software such as Jira.
  • Mobile web and mobile app technology specific experience
  • Agile development methodology experience
  • Experience in global multi-branded B2C environments a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Normal office environment.
