Early Childhood Lead Associate Teacher for Before and After Care JobID: 3486 Position Type: Student Support Services/ Early Childhood Date Posted: 5/21/2025 Location: Paw Paw Early Childhood Center Job Posting Dates: May 21, 2025 – Until Filled Title: Early Childhood Lead Associate Teacher for Before and After Care Job Location: Early Childhood Center Reports to: Early Childhood Director Job Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt Qualifications: High School Diploma CPR and First Aid certified CPI certified Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite Proven ability to plan and implement a quality program by utilizing outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and manage multiple situations effectively Associate degree in Early Childhood or Child Development OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required, or ability to comply within 3 years, preferred Job Description: Administrator of Procare system – children records, billing, and filing for the MDHHS childcare subsidy paperwork Ensure all students are properly signed in and out of the Procare system Monitor/Intervene in student behavior to ensure a safe and orderly environment for preschool children Create and manage the before/after care associate schedule Manage before and after care with Director input Ensure compliance with State of Michigan licensing requirements (sanitizing, ratio of students to staff, and training requirements) Ensure proper coverage for opening and closing shifts Ensure the Early Childhood Center environments are properly sanitized per State guidelines Monitor snack inventory, play materials, and cleaning supplies – submit an order if necessary, to the Early Childhood Center secretary Create and maintain before and after care standard operating procedures Design and maintain before and after care daily play areas – large motor skills, writing, reading, sensory, dramatic play, art, and construction center Create and maintain center inventory sheets – equipment and supplies, snack inventory, cleaning scheduled, and work schedule Supervise other associates in before and after care Substitute for Early Childhood and/or GSRP teachers when needed Cultivate a positive relationship with children, teachers, parents, and families by focusing on good communication skills and creating a safe and nurturing environment Perform other duties as determined by the director and/or designee Salary/Benefits: Starting at $16.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials Days/Hours: Students Days/30 hours per week between the hours of 6:45 a.m.– 5:30 p.m. Start Date: August 2025 How to Apply: Apply Here STATEMENT OF NON-DISCRIMINATION: It is the policy of the Paw Paw Public School District that no discriminatory practices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, height, weight, marital status, disability, geneticinformation, or any other status covered by federal, state, or local law be allowed during any program, activity, service,or in employment.
