Lead Teacher – Kaylee’s Garden (Madison, WI)

At Kaylee’s Garden, we believe early childhood education is about connection, curiosity, and care. We’re looking for Lead Teachers who are passionate about creating a welcoming, engaging classroom where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding a classroom, supporting children’s development, and working as part of a collaborative, supportive team.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Creating a warm, nurturing classroom environment
  • Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play
  • Building strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
  • Leading classroom routines with consistency and care
  • Collaborating with assistants and leadership to support the classroom as a team

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in an early childhood setting
  • A positive, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • A genuine love for working with young children
  • Ability to meet Wisconsin childcare licensing requirements for a Lead Teacher
