Salary: $39-42 per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Music Educator to join our highly successful parent-child music classes. The ideal candidate will have strong musical skills, a deep understanding or a willingness to learn how to sing in different modes and chant in different meters, and the enthusiasm to collaborate with a dedicated team of teachers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging and educational music classes for parents and children.
• Foster a fun and supportive environment where children can explore music.
• Communicate effectively with parents during classes, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with our team of educators to continually enhance our curriculum and class offerings.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Strong musical skills with proficiency in singing and basic instrumental skills (piano, guitar, etc.).
• Excellent understanding or willingness to learn how to sing in different modes and chant in different meters.
• Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in child development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in engaging with parents and children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Previous experience in early childhood education or music instruction is preferred but not required.
• Training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates potential and enthusiasm for the role.

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
